Competitive Commission Split with Bonus Potential | Medical, Dental & Life Insurance with AD&D | 401k Plan match Residential Appraiser Needed Valbridge Property Advisors | Utah has an immediate opening for a certified residential appraiser. The ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated with experience appraising a variety of residential properties including luxury, recreational and multi-family properties along the Wasatch Front and Back. In Utah we have offices in Salt Lake County, Utah County and St. George. The right candidate will have the convenience to work hybrid with their office base being either in Salt Lake or Utah County. This is an excellent position for: an established appraiser that would like to focus on writing reports and eliminate administrative and business tasks they are currently juggling with their appraisal assignments. an established appraiser that is relocating. Responsibilities Conduct formal appraisals of real property or land for a variety of clients including banks, mortgage lenders, AMCs, attorneys, and individual owners. Provide an unbiased, comprehensive, and professional opinion of market value. Examine all variables that impact the property's value, including but not limited to property sales data and comparable sales. Comply with USPAP and keep informed of all current regulations, standards, and best practices. Be a certified appraiser in good standing. Strong analytical and research skills Strong written and oral communication skills Knowledge and experience searching online to obtain market data for comparative analysis. Acute attention to detail Possess sound judgement, excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines. Professional, positive, and respectful attitude with clients, property owners, property contacts and co-workers Salary, Status & Benefits We offer a competitive commission split with bonus potential. We are flexible on the position being full or part time.
