This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, comfortable working independently, and capable of identifying property issues while maintaining a professional appearance and communication style with tenants and owners. The position includes conducting move-in, move-out, and routine property reviews, taking high-quality property photos, documenting findings, and completing basic maintenance items during reviews when possible. Responsibilities Routine property reviews Conduct move-in, move-out, renewal, and routine property reviews Document property condition thoroughly and accurately Identify damages, maintenance concerns, lease violations, or safety issues Upload review notes, photos, and reports into company systems Ensure review reports are completed on time and with attention to detail Photography & Documentation Take clear, professional-quality photos of units, interiors, exteriors, damages, and completed work Organize and upload photos to property management systems Maintain consistent review standards across all properties Minor Maintenance & Repairs Perform small maintenance tasks during reviews when appropriate, including: Replacing light bulbs Replacing smoke detector batteries Tightening fixtures or hardware Minor touch-up repairs Installing air filters Minor troubleshooting Communicate larger repair needs to the property management team Coordinate with vendors when necessary General Field Support Assist with property walk-throughs and vendor access Verify unit readiness for move-ins Report urgent property concerns immediately Maintain professionalism when interacting with tenants, owners, and vendors Qualifications Prior property management, maintenance, construction, or review experience preferred Strong attention to detail Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and property management software Ability to take organized, high-quality photos Basic handyman or maintenance skills Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage schedules efficiently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Preferred Skills Experience with rental property reviews Familiarity with maintenance coordination Knowledge of basic residential systems and repairs Experience using AppFolio or similar property management software Physical Requirements Ability to walk properties, climb stairs, bend, lift, and carry small equipment/materials Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Compensation & Schedule Compensation based on experience Flexible scheduling may be available Why Join Keyrenter West Seattle?
