  • Full-time Essential Job Duties Evaluate flavor formulas and create technical documentation using a standard template in response to customer email requests Assist in completing regulatory compliance forms, surveys, and questionnaires for customer requests, including compiling technical documentation for products, facility, and company information Request and gather raw material documentation.
Train on regulatory principles as it pertains to Bioengineered, Allergen, Natural, Organic, Vegan, Prop 65, and many other parameters Upload compliance documents and handle requests through customers' online regulatory portals, including platforms such as TraceGains, Document Compliance Network, and others Collaborate with R D to review flavor ingredients for regulatory claims and compliance. Submit reformulation suggestions to R D (as needed) Review and submit Raw Material Kosher certificates and request new product Kosher certifications via the Rabbinical agency's online portal Complete and submit forms for organic certification of organic products Assist in recording regulatory tasks across multiple spreadsheets to ensure logs are current and accurate Assist Purchasing department with sourcing new Raw Materials by evaluating preliminary documents for regulatory claims and compliance Routinely request and review documentation from vendors to gather necessary regulatory information. Manage and maintain updated digital records of all documentation Assist with customer audits, organic audits, Kosher audits, BRC audits, and mock recall exercises as needed Assist the department manager with any special projects or additional duties as needed Competencies Minimum B.S. degree in Food Science or related field Food Science background preferred Technologically proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PDFs, etc. Understanding of HACCP, GMPs, and SOPs Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines, attention to detail, organized Strong email communication skills; able to write clear, concise, and professional emails Reports to
