Job Description

Polsinelli's Chicago office has an immediate opening for a Licensing Specialist to assist its Healthcare group with regulatory compliance. This is an on-site position.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Compile and submit, in a timely manner, regulatory documents according to regulatory requirements Provide regulatory advice to project teams. Respond to regulatory authorities' questions with strict deadlines Maintain regulatory files in a format consistent with requirements Develop and initiate complex regulatory project plans Maintain and update existing regulatory authorizations Represent Regulatory Affairs in project teams Review promotional material for compliance with local regulations Ensure that confidentiality of information is kept to a high standard Maintain current knowledge regarding application legislation, guidelines, and client practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to independent judgment Scientific knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of regulations Ability to multitask and meet demanding deadlines Technical system skills (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, databases, online research) Ability to identify compliance risks and escalate when necessary Bachelor's degree requiring the certificate program in paralegal studies or equivalent education helpful. 1-2 years of experience working in a regulatory environment or healthcare-related field is a plus #IND123 The budgeted salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000.
