Job Title:
FSQA & Regulatory Support Specialist Location:
Lebanon, PA / Sinking Spring, PA (Onsite / Hybrid potential)
Salary:
$25.00 - $32.00 / hour (Based on experience)
Job Type:
Full-time Job Summary We are a growing confectionery manufacturer and distributor of candy, nuts, dried fruits, and snacks, specializing in panned and enrobed chocolate products. We are seeking an adaptable, deadline-driven FSQA & Regulatory Support Specialist to manage our technical documentation, ingredient specification sheets, and vendor compliance records. In this role, you will be the administrative backbone of our food safety team, working directly alongside our Corporate FSQA Lead. You will sit at the intersection of supplier compliance, customer requests, and audit readiness, ensuring 100% accuracy across our multi-site SQF-certified facilities.
Compensation:
$25 - $32 hourly
Responsibilities:
Regulatory Documentation:
Review, update, and organize internal and customer-facing product specification sheets, ingredient/nutritional (I/N) panels, and allergen control matrices.
Vendor Compliance:
Source, review, and audit incoming raw material paperwork, including Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and approved supplier documentation.
Certifications Management:
Maintain up-to-date documentation and audit trails for third-party certifications, including Kosher, RSPO, and UTZ/Rainforest Alliance.
Audit Readiness:
Ensure all food safety manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and logbooks are perfectly indexed, updated, and ready for annual SQF audits.
Cross-Functional Support:
Act as the primary point of contact for customer technical inquiries, quickly compiling documentation packages to support sales and operations.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in food regulatory compliance, food safety administration, or QA document control. Experience in the confectionery, bakery, or allergen-heavy food industry is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of FDA labeling guidelines, allergen cross-contact risks, and how documentation integrates into
SQF/GFSI
standards.
Deadlines & Accuracy:
Proven ability to manage high-volume paperwork under tight timelines with zero tolerance for typographical errors.
Software Skills:
Proficient with MS Excel and cloud-based document management systems. Familiarity with nutritional labeling software (e.g., Nutracoster) is a plus.
