This role supports new product development, manages product stewardship activities, and ensures that products meet requirements related to GHS, USMCA, import/export regulations, REACH, and other regulatory frameworks. The position is well-suited for someone who enjoys problem-solving, structured processes, and collaborating with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, transparent, and continuously learning environment. Responsibilities Work with product development, supply chain, project management, marketing, and sales teams to ensure regulatory compliance of lubricants marketed globally. Review and approve industrial and consumer packaging to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. Manage internal and external product regulatory requests by assigning ownership, tracking progress, and updating status. Organize, update, and control Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documents and related records to maintain accurate and current information. Validate databases and information related to Proposition 65, SVHC, REACH, and other relevant regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing compliance. Maintain well-organized records that enable quick and reliable retrieval of required regulatory information. Prepare documentation and supporting materials to fulfill requirements associated with USMCA. Complete product and chemical classifications for shipping hazardous and non-hazardous materials in accordance with applicable regulations. Support new product development by providing regulatory guidance and ensuring compliance throughout the product lifecycle. Actively participate in initiatives to improve regulatory processes, procedures, and documentation standards. Perform other product stewardship and regulatory compliance functions as assigned. Collaborate as an individual contributor with ownership over specific accounts or regulatory processes, while working closely with a Product Regulatory Associate and the broader regulatory team. Engage in customer-facing interactions as needed, providing clear and accurate regulatory information and support. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, chemical, or product compliance. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations (HazCom preferred). Working knowledge of DOT/49 CFR, IATA, and IMDG regulations; formal training is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New Hope, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $41.00/hr.
