Join our team in Pasadena, TX, as a Process Safety Engineer and play a pivotal role in advancing process safety initiatives across the organization. What You'll Do:
As a Process Safety Engineer, you will lead critical safety assessments, including Risk and Consequences Analyses (RCAs) and Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs). Your expertise will guide the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and corporate policies. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a proactive safety culture and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Skills:
3-10 years of experience in process safety engineering Proven expertise leading RCAs, PHAs, and MOC processes Strong understanding of process safety management systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and leadership capabilities Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience in the energy or manufacturing sectors Additional certifications such as API, NEBOSH, or OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) Knowledge of advanced safety management tools and software
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Prior experience in a senior or lead safety engineering role
Other Requirements:
