Job Description
Risk & Insurance Analyst Must be based in or within commuting distance of the Greater Orlando area. Reporting directly to senior executive leadership, this position will take ownership of commercial insurance administration while supporting broader risk, compliance, corporate governance, and M&A initiatives. What makes this opportunity especially compelling: Direct exposure to executive leadership with significant ownership and autonomy Manage a diverse commercial insurance portfolio across multiple businesses and operating entities Approximately 80% focus on insurance and risk management , with additional exposure to corporate governance Opportunity to participate in risk analysis supporting acquisitions and other strategic initiatives Broad exposure to Property, General Liability, Auto, Cyber, Workers' Compensation, D&O, Marine, Professional Liability, and Umbrella coverage Stable organization with multiple operating companies and long-term growth opportunities Limited travel of approximately 10% or less This role is ideal for an experienced commercial insurance or corporate risk professional who wants to move beyond transactional insurance administration and take broader ownership of risk initiatives within a corporate environment. Key Responsibilities of the Risk & Insurance Analyst Manage day-to-day administration of the organization's commercial insurance programs across multiple entities Coordinate insurance renewals, including gathering and organizing exposure data from subsidiaries Administer certificates of insurance, endorsements, insurance audits, carrier inspections, compliance submissions, and related reporting Review insurance policies and endorsements for accuracy and maintain current insurance schedules Manage reporting, monitoring, and administration of property and automobile claims Review insurance invoices, allocate premiums across entities, and track insurance-related costs Review third-party contracts to ensure appropriate insurance requirements and recommend changes when necessary Develop, update, and implement corporate risk management policies and procedures Perform risk analysis and insurance program reviews in support of M&A and other strategic initiatives Coordinate annual entity reporting, business licensing, state filings, and other corporate governance requirements Lead special projects and risk management initiatives in partnership with executive leadership Qualifications for the Risk & Insurance Analyst 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance administration, corporate risk management, or a commercial insurance brokerage environment Experience must include hands-on exposure to commercial insurance programs; candidates coming from brokerage should have a service, account management, risk, or analytical background rather than primarily insurance sales Experience coordinating commercial insurance renewals, policies, endorsements, claims, certificates, and related compliance requirements Experience reviewing contracts and evaluating insurance requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered Master's degree or MBA is a plus Experience supporting a multi-entity organization strongly preferred Manufacturing, industrial, marine, or similarly complex operating industry experience is a plus Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements Benefits & Growth Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Retirement savings program Paid time off and company holidays Direct exposure to senior executive leadership Opportunity to support M&A and strategic business initiatives Broad ownership across insurance, risk, compliance, and corporate governance Professional development and long-term career growth opportunities This Risk & Insurance Analyst opportunity is best suited for an experienced insurance or risk professional who wants corporate ownership rather than a sales-focused insurance role .
