Job Description:
Senior Risk Analyst -Audit & Exam Position Overview the Senior Risk Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and coordinating both internal and external audit activities across the Real Estate Lending division. This position serves as the primary point of contact between auditors and business units, ensuring audit requests, documentation, and responses are managed with accuracy and delivered on schedule. The Audit Liaison evaluates and analyzes risks of varyingplexity, identifies control gaps, and partners with stakeholders to implement effective mitigation strategies. The role requires advanced regulatory and audit expertise, as well as the ability tomunicate findings and rmendations to senior leadership. Work is performed with minimal supervision and demands aprehensive understanding of business operations, regulatory expectations, and risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the central liaison between internal/external auditors and business units during audits, examinations, and reviews. Coordinate the collection, validation, and timely delivery of audit documentation and responses. Evaluate potential operational, regulatory, andpliance risks; identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Synthesize and analyzeplex data to support audit responses and risk mitigation strategies. Communicate audit status, issues, remediation progress, and findings to senior leadership in a clear andpelling manner. Support business units in designing and implementing corrective action plans to address audit andpliance findings.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in audit, regulatorypliance, risk management, or a related field. Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, methodologies, and regulatory requirements. Advanced understanding of operational, regulatory, andpliance risk concepts and controls. Exceptional written and verbalmunication skills, with the ability to present audit issues and rmendations to senior leadership. Complete knowledge and understanding of business area/specialization. Advanced knowledge and understanding of risk-based auditing techniques and methodologies. Advanced knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations,pany policies, and industry best practices. Experience managing multi-faceted projects simultaneously that have cross departmental impact. Advanced knowledge of operational and regulatory risk control concepts and practices. Proven ability to plan, organize, and effectively execute risk mitigation and process improvement initiatives. Advanced organizational, planning, and time management skills. Advanced research and analytical skills. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Auditing, or related field, or equivalentbination of training, education, and experience.
Desired:
