In this role, you will support risk assessment and mitigation efforts by analyzing data, identifying potential threats such as fraud, and developing models to predict financial risks. Key Responsibilities Monitor Account Funding Status & Issue Margin Calls Review margin adequacy in client accounts, issue margin call notifications, and follow up on the status of client funding replenishment. Market Risk Monitoring & Early Warning Closely track market volatility, trading activity, and client risk exposures. Proactively identify potential risks and issue risk alerts or trading restriction notices as needed. Track P&L and Margin Fluctuations Monitor intraday trading profit/loss (P&L) and margin movements, and assess risk exposures and hedge positions. Trading System Stability Monitoring Ensure front-end trading platforms and risk control systems operate normally. Troubleshoot and coordinate with system vendors or exchange technical support teams for rapid recovery of any issues (requires frequent English communication). Permission Approval & Risk Control Operations Use English-language trading platforms and exchange risk systems to manage client permissions, adjust risk parameters, and approve trading activities. Client Support & Compliance Liaison Respond to client inquiries and requests regarding products, trading, funding, and risk control. Ensure timely, compliant handling and accurate documentation of all interactions. Specialized Risk Analysis & Project Execution Participate in risk analysis projects as assigned, including stress testing, Value-at-Risk (VaR) calculations, and market extreme scenario simulations. Assist with System Optimization & Model Maintenance Collaborate with vendors to optimize real-time risk control software, and support the maintenance, updates, and testing of the firm's proprietary programming models based on business requirements. Stay Updated on Compliance & Regulatory Policies Maintain familiarity with US and exchange regulations governing client funds, trading limits, and margin management. Ensure daily risk operations and reports meet regulatory standards and internal policies. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus Strong understanding of financial concepts such as credit analysis, cash flow analysis, and risk management principles Proficiency in statistical analysis, statistics, and quantitative research methods Experience with data mining, data modeling, and financial software tools; Proficiency in Python is required, and knowledge of VBA is advantageous.
