Senior Product Risk Specialist Location:
CityScape What you'll do: As a Senior Product Risk Specialist you'll oversee and coordinate product development projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget while aligning with business goals and customer needs. You'll partner with the Product Management Team to develop and execute on the Bank's strategic roadmaps which includes organizing strategic goals and objectives into executable programs and projects. You'll assess the impact to the Bank's strategic road maps based on potential competitive and regulatory changes including new products, enhancment of existing products, and lead efforts in the adoption of new technologies. You'll develop and implement strategies to mitigate or eliminate identified risks, including quality control procedures, and regulatory compliance measures. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Drive facilitation of Products and Services Risk Assessments for assigned product groups including the creation of First Risk Council meeting materials, PSRA evidence tracking, and 1LOD Product Risk reporting. Assist with product-owned issue management resolution. Play a key role in ensuring enterprise-wide policy adherence and monitoring plan. Lead KPI creation, tracking, and reporting to measure product performance, adoption, and operational effectiveness. Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, provide updates, manage expectations and facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, compliance, and customer support. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Collaborate with product owners to define product requirements and prioritize features based on customer feedback and market analysis. And oversee the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch. Coordinate cross-functional launch readiness activities, ensuring communications, training, and KPI tracking are aligned and executed prior to product release. What you'll need: 5+ years of related experience in Product Management or similar field. Bachelor's degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred. Previous leadership experience preferred. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of product development, quality assurance, risk assessment methodologies, and relevant regulations. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data analytics to analyze data and identify trends related to product risks. Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
