Chief Engineer

Chief Engineer -NC Our client, a geotechnical ground improvement solutions company, is looking for a Chief Engineer. The Chief Engineer serves as the company's highest-level and most senior technical advisor and expert, providing expert guidance, proactive mentorship, and strategic insight across all geotechnical engineering activities.

Responsibilities :

Provide Leadership Team level support and mentorship to engineering and technical leaders and resources across the organization Collaborate with engineering teams to establish, oversee and refine engineering strategy, standards, and technical governance Serve as high level technical authority on complex geotechnical designs, methodologies, and construction approaches Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with engineering practices across all regions and projects Lead technical risk assessment and mitigation for complex or high-profile projects Support innovation, continuous improvement, and advancement of geotechnical systems, tools, and methodologies Education, qualifications and requirements: 15+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, geotechnical construction, or closely related engineering disciplines 10+ years of leadership experience, including management of senior engineers, technical teams, or engineering functions Deep technical expertise in ground improvement, foundation systems, and geotechnical design and construction practices Demonstrated ability to lead engineering organizations through growth, complexity, and change Strong judgment in technical decision-making and risk management Professional Engineer Master's degree in

Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering Success Characteristics:
