Job Description

Summary A leading consumer lending platform is looking to hire a Senior Risk Analyst to support credit risk, portfolio analytic, and financial modeling initiatives across a diverse set of cash‑flowing credit assets. This role sits close to investment decision‑making and business strategy, offering hands‑on exposure to embedded finance, specialty lending, and asset‑backed structures. You will partner with finance, risk, and business teams to evaluate portfolio performance, assess new opportunities, and inform capital allocation decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong credit intuition with advanced analytical skills and thrives in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment. Responsibilities Build and maintain detailed financial and cash flow models to evaluate new credit and investment opportunities, including stress and downside scenarios. Monitor portfolio performance by analyzing delinquencies, losses, excess spread, and other key credit metrics against forecasts and risk thresholds. Partner with cross‑functional teams to support deal diligence, ongoing portfolio reviews, and senior management reporting. Develop and enhance analytical reporting and dashboards to improve visibility into trends and support strategic decision‑making. Requirements 3+ years of experience in credit risk, portfolio analytics, or financial modeling within specialty finance, asset‑based lending, or consumer/commercial credit. Strong understanding of portfolio dynamics, including roll rates, loss forecasting, and performance attribution. Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL to analyze datasets, with exposure to Tableau or Python as a plus. A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or quantitative discipline.
