Job Description Job Description A customer of Insight Global is looking to onboard a safety and loss control consultant to their team. This person evaluates policyholders' safety programs, identifies workplace hazards, and provides recommendations to reduce risk and prevent losses. This role conducts on-site assessments, prepares reports, supports underwriting decisions, and helps clients strengthen their overall safety and risk management practices. Day to Day
  • Must be comfortable traveling all throughout Northern Jersey, Southern Jersey, Philadelphia area, and some Northern Pennsylvania as well
  • Conduct on-site safety assessments and evaluate workplace conditions
  • Analyze loss data and claims trends to identify risk exposures and recommend practical solutions to reduce loss.
  • Partner with clients to improve safety performance
  • Prepare reports for underwriting teams
  • Research safety regulations
  • Respond to safety related inquiries

  • Background working for an insurance carrier
  • Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, or engineering related field
  • Knowledge in the occupational safety/identifying workplace hazards Plusses
  • Master's in safety or industrial hygiene
  • Background in fire engineering, fire protection, engineering, or risk management
  • Previous experience in safety management or occupational safety management consulting experience in industry or insurance
  • Any Professional certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certification as an associate in risk management (ARM), Associated Safety Professional (ASP)
