2958763047-2 Apply for this job now Job Description BNY is seeking a Specialist, OPS Control to support critical operations in a global finance environment. This role monitors daily transaction flows, reconciles accounts, and investigates exceptions to protect client assets and reduce operational risk. You will perform data validation and root-cause analysis, prepare control and audit documentation, and partner with global teams to resolve complex issues. Using strong Excel and financial systems skills, you'll help enhance processes, support regulatory and internal controls, and contribute to continuous improvement across BNY's operations platform. Responsibilities Monitor daily operations control activities to ensure timely, accurate processing of financial transactions and account reconciliations. Investigate and resolve breaks, discrepancies, and exceptions in trade, cash, and position data, escalating issues as needed. Apply risk and control procedures to safeguard client assets and support regulatory and internal policy compliance. Prepare operational reports, metrics, and documentation to support audits, oversight, and management review. Collaborate with global operations, technology, and client teams to resolve issues and improve control processes. Support implementation of process enhancements, automation, and standardization to reduce operational risk. Use financial systems and data tools to validate, analyze, and reconcile large transaction datasets. Contribute to control testing, quality checks, and root-cause analysis for recurring issues. Adhere to service level agreements and contribute to a strong client-service culture within operations. Participate in training and knowledge sharing to stay current on products, systems, and control standards.
