Job Description
Role purpose
Develop a reusable framework for defining, generating, executing, parameterizing, and analyzing
simulation scenarios for robotics and autonomous-system validation.
Key responsibilities
- Define scenario schemas, parameter models, constraints, event triggers, actors, environment
conditions, and expected outcomes. - Build APIs, libraries, templates, and tools for deterministic and randomized scenario creation.
- Support coverage-driven test generation, replay, combinatorial variation, and regression suites.
- Capture seeds, versions, results, failures, and traceability for reproducibility.
Integrate scenarios with simulators, sensor models, orchestration, and QA reporting.
Required experience and skills- Strong Python/C++ software engineering and framework design.
- Experience with simulation scenarios, robotics/autonomous testing, or model-based testing.
- Understanding of determinism, randomization, coverage, and reproducibility.
Preferred experience
OpenSCENARIO, ROS2, behavior trees, pytest, property-based testing, Isaac Sim, or
traffic/industrial scenario modeling.
Salary Range:
$90,000 - $150,000 per year
