ORA_HYBRID Description SAIC is a trusted leader in delivering advanced command and control capabilities across the Department of the Air Force, bringing deep expertise in how cutting edge technologies are engineered, secured, and delivered to the fight. At the center of this mission, the Common Mission Control Center (CMCC) unifies data, sensors, mission applications, cloud based services, and emerging AI enabled automation to give warfighters a decisive edge — turning complex, multidomain information into fast, clear, and actionable decisions in the moments that matter most. The CMCC System Facilitator contract positions SAIC to accelerate how new capabilities are integrated, tested, secured, and transitioned into operational use, working side by side with operators, engineers, Capability Providers, and government teams to ensure every delivery strengthens mission readiness. This effort offers the chance to directly shape how the Air Force sees, decides, and acts across all domains—making a tangible and immediate impact on warfighter effectiveness. SAIC is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance & Risk Management Lead to oversee and enhance quality processes for complex software deployments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Quality Management Systems, risk oversight, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Ensure consistent adherence to the program's Quality Management System. Lead the development, maintenance, and tracking of the Risk Management Framework; facilitate Risk Review Boards and brief government leadership on mitigation activities. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to plan and lead Lean Six Sigma Structured Improvement Activities (SIAs). Collaborate with customer and CMCC leadership to drive continual enhancement of operational workflows. Facilitate and support ongoing improvements to procedures and processes. Identify and guide process improvement efforts, enabling cross functional teams to evaluate and implement technology or workflow enhancements. Assess areas of potential improvement and work with program teams to refine and mature opportunities. Develop workflows, operating procedures, and work instructions that support enterprise-wide execution, automation, reporting, and proactive performance assessment. Ensure product development and service delivery processes consistently meet customer expectations. Lead discussions and conduct trend analysis to identify performance patterns and predictive behaviors. Establish and maintain mechanisms for monitoring performance metrics. Work with service delivery teams to refine measurements and lead working groups in defining mission-oriented KPIs. Update, implement, and maintain Quality Control Plans. Monitor process compliance, track corrective actions, and ensure timely closure. Support development sprints and ensure test activities are executed according to plan. Review process outputs and conduct internal audits to confirm compliance. Define audit approaches, establish thresholds, and analyze audit results. Document nonconformities and requirement escapes, perform root cause analyses, and drive corrective and preventive actions to completion. Integrate closely with the program team to implement and execute the quality management system. Support quality-related activities across the program and maintain visibility of quality action items through resolution. Identify and communicate project quality risks to program leadership. Contribute to the Risk and Opportunity Register and Lessons Learned Register. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelors degree and 9 years of experience. Deep expertise in Quality Management Systems, risk oversight, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Experience developing workflows, operating procedures, and work instructions that support enterprise-wide execution, automation, reporting, and proactive performance assessment. Desired Qualifications Master's degree in Quality Assurance or a related field (highly preferred). Prior military or Department of Defense (DoD) experience in quality control (strongly desired). Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience conducting SIAs, managing performance metrics, and performing quality audits. Exceptional oral and written communication, presentation, and documentation skills. Knowledge of
