Faculty Retiree/Lecturer in Risk Management This position is internal to University of Colorado PERA retirees

Job Summary:

This is a temporary, non-tenure-track position.. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and will be made semester-by-semester as needed. Lecturers will teach classes in the Business School at the University of Colorado Denver. Classes taught will generally be limited to three credit hours. These may include lectures in all teaching modes (in person, hybrid, online, remote). CU Denver is committed to recruiting and supporting a diverse student body, faculty and administrative staff. Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Terminal degree in finance or closely related field. Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in the discipline related to the teaching assignment; at a minimum, significant experience is interpreted as at least five years of duties and responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior online teaching experience in finance and the record of teaching multiple finance courses. Professional designations such as CFA and CFP are a plus. How to

The

HIRING RANGE

for this position has been established at: $5,660.00

•$6,135.00 . The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. Temporary employees are only eligible for sick leave benefits.
