Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Director of Risk Management, Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement to lead our quality assurance and risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive healthcare compliance expertise, strong leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of regulatory standards such as Joint Commission, AHCA, and HIPAA. This pivotal role involves overseeing quality improvement processes, ensuring regulatory adherence, and fostering a culture of continuous safety and excellence within our organization. Qualifications Proven experience in healthcare quality assurance or risk management within a residential facility setting; prior leadership roles preferred. In-depth knowledge of healthcare compliance standards including Joint Commission and AHCA. Demonstrated project management skills with experience leading process improvement initiatives in healthcare environments. Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting purposes. Excellent team leadership abilities with a track record of fostering collaborative work environments. Strong communication skills with the ability to train staff on complex compliance topics effectively.
EDUCATION
Master's Degree required in related field to mental/behavioral health. Licensed Mental Health Professional. Bachelor's Degree required if RN with Registered Nurse License by Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Florida.BACKGROUND
