Role:
Join Project Touch Inc as a Residential Supervisor for our high-risk youth group home in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of at-risk youth while leading a dedicated team in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations of the group home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for residents. Develop and implement individualized care plans for each youth, focusing on their unique needs. Provide mentorship and guidance to staff, fostering professional development and teamwork. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of youth progress and program effectiveness. Facilitate group activities and therapeutic sessions to promote social skills and emotional growth. Collaborate with external agencies and families to support youth in their transition and reintegration. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, progress reports, and compliance with regulations. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and crisis intervention strategies within the home.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience working with at-risk youth in a residential setting. Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for youth advocacy. Valid CPR and First Aid certifications required. Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and behavioral management techniques. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must pass background checks and maintain a valid driver's license. Must be able to drive a 7-8 passenger van.
