ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
The ERM Analyst will work with the Enterprise Risk Management Team in documenting, maintaining, and reporting on VyStar's risk environment. The incumbent will be charged with understanding risk management concepts, mitigation activities, monitoring, reporting and validation of risks and controls. Accuracy and data integrity are critical as reports created and analyzed are used when making management decisions. Person in this position should be comfortable collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and with various levels business unit personnel including management. Team member will have a diverse and flexible role to present recommendations and execute processes for ERM's risk register, verify uploaded attestation, monitor mitigation and remediation efforts at the business unit / business process level. Support VyStar's risk culture and build strong collaborative relationships across the organization. Assist with enterprise-wide efforts to create an increased understanding and awareness of business line managers' responsibility for risk assessment and management activities in their daily decision-making, process executions and procedural guidance.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Working with business owners to quantitative and qualitatively identify, assess, and monitor risks across all risk categories, as needed, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the ERM Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) software used to maintain VyStar's risk register and report on risk mitigating strategies To serve as the first point of contact for business unit personnel to address questions relating to routine ERM and GRC needs Provides input into the development and evolution of the existing Risk Dashboard Reporting framework to enrich the metrics, commentary, and MIS reporting. Develops a risk playbook and works with the management team and businesses to implement a continuous feedback loop Communicates within and outside the department to answer risk questions, enhance understanding of risk findings and make suggestions on improvements. Assists in review or creation of functional process flow (Visio) diagrams across business and corporate processes. Coordinate and perform independent verification of attestations uploaded into the GRC solution Experience with Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) or Key Process Indicators (KPIs), score cards, and dashboards Manage issues escalation and follow through with remediation Provide support to business units by setting up new users in the software and granting proper access. The Risk team serves as the second line of defense by providing risk oversight and credible challenge whereas the Audit team serves as the third line of defense by providing risk assurance.

Verify necessary follow-up actions were completed. Education and Job Requirements Bachelor's degree with preferred emphasis on Business and/or management related courses. Minimum two years of work experience in a financial institution Experience in preparing various reports, such as spreadsheets, tables and graphs utilizing pivot tables, Power Pivot and/or use of VLOOKUPs in Excel. Familiarity with data management and reporting tools strongly desired: Essbase, SQL, SAS, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Visio, Python, R. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic understanding of risk management practices Ability to effectively work with both internal and external partners in a highly collaborative environment. Ability to communicate complex concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner. Ability to assist with multiple projects, work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Maintains professional composure, objectivity and fairness when dealing with conflict or sensitive matters. Ability to travel as needed to successfully perform position responsibilities. Excellent ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish various goals and objectives and to produce high quality materials within tight timeframes.
