Focus:

Risk assessment, compliance controls, regulatory reporting and audit management What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Conducting risk assessments across operational, financial, regulatory and quality domains Identifying control gaps and recommending mitigation strategies aligned with compliance frameworks Supporting audit readiness through documentation, testing and evidence management Preparing risk reports and metrics for leadership and regulatory bodies Monitoring changes in regulatory requirements and assessing organizational impact Collaborating with business units to implement and embed risk controls Maintaining risk registers and tracking the status of control remediation What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: 2-5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, internal audit or quality assurance Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to your industry (healthcare, finance, manufacturing or similar) Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies, compliance controls and audit procedures Strong analytical and documentation skills; ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into operational guidance Proficiency with risk management tools and Microsoft Office Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field Nice-to-have Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) or Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certification Experience with audit management systems or compliance software Knowledge of ISO standards or industry-specific regulations What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Exposure to end-to-end risk management processes and the opportunity to build expertise in compliance frameworks Potential to influence how organizations manage regulatory and operational risk Flexible contract arrangements with clear scope and deliverables Professional development through exposure to diverse risk domains and emerging regulatory landscapes The satisfaction of helping organizations operate safely and in compliance with legal obligations About Specialist Staffing Group Specialist Staffing Group partners with organizations across regulated industries to build high-performing teams.
