Behavioral Interventionist/At-Risk Coordinator Location:

2026-2027 School Year Reports to:
Director Salary:
Commensurate with experience and/or contractual requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or certification in an appropriate field Preferred Qualifications Valid certification in a relevant area (Social Work, Special Education, Elementary Education, Law Enforcement) Successful teaching experience in a public school district or relevant experience in another professional field Successful experience working with students exhibiting challenging behaviors Desired Characteristics Passion for working collaboratively with young children, families, and staff Strong relationship-building and communication skills supporting a team approach to education Eagerness to approach problems from new and different perspectives Ability to collect and use data to drive student success Growth mindset focused on constructive interactions Consistency, caring, and firmness in interactions with students and stakeholders Knowledgeable in methods and techniques designed to improve student behaviors Job Description Actively participate in and contribute to a well-orchestrated system of ongoing data collection and analysis to inform a responsive and adaptive system of tiered interventions designed to meet students' specific behavioral needs Foster collective responsibility and ownership for ever-improving student behavior within a student-centered environment of respect, teamwork, and accountability Influence the prioritization of student needs over the barriers of customs, routines, and established relationships Work directly with stakeholders to promote positive student behavior outcomes Assist with the development of intervention plans that assist students in learning strategies for the purpose of managing their behavior and monitor implementation through regular observation and feedback Provide behavior interventions individually and through small, flexible group instruction designed to assist students in learning strategies for the purpose of managing their behavior Carry out other related duties as assigned Attend training as required
