The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading the development and execution of comprehensive risk management strategies that align with the company's objectives. Working closely with senior leadership, legal advisors, and department heads, the Risk Control Manager will oversee the processes of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Main Responsibilities Take charge of the overall risk management program, including identifying, evaluating, and addressing risks. Develop and implement policies and procedures relating to risk management. Work collaboratively with legal teams to handle ongoing litigation cases, including investigations and the collection of records. Deliver training and guidance to staff and leaders on managing risks and reporting incidents. Act as the Compliance and Ethics Officer to guarantee adherence to regulatory standards.
Requirements Education:
Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing; a Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or an MBA is highly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of five years in healthcare, with at least three years in a leadership position. Experience in acute healthcare risk management is advantageous and may substitute for leadership experience.
Licensure:
Current RN license in NM is a requirement. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Current (or eligible) New Mexico RN license required. Employment Information This is a full-time, exempt role. Candidates should be willing to work on-site as necessary. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
