- Central Scheduling (FMC) Pay Rate Type Hourly Pay Grade Health-20 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Job Description Responsible for verifying patients' insurance coverage and obtaining prior authorizations for outpatient exams. Locate and research supporting documentation to submit to insurance companies for prior authorizations. Follow-up on pending authorizations, provider peer-to-peer requests and, denied accounts. Send admitting notifications to insurance companies for patients and Case Management. Follow up on observation and inpatient accounts.
