Requirements In-depth understanding of chassis commodities within vehicle requirements. Proficiency in performing 1D/3D stack-up analyses to evaluate design feasibility. Ability to organize and present complex technical information in a clear, concise, and impactful manner across the organization. Experience in Build troubleshooting. Capability to train and mentor team members. Advanced knowledge of GD&T principles, with proven ability to create and validate technical drawings. Proficiency in CATIA (V5 and V6). Key Responsibilities Define and establish datum schemes, tolerances, and requirements for chassis commodities. Serve as Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) lead for feasibility assessments. Oversee the drawing-check process for designated vehicle commodities. Define and implement measurement strategies. Approve fixtures in accordance with project requirements. Required Attributes Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 6-8 years' experience in dimensional management. Knowledge of basic statistical concepts and process control. Strong understanding of Variation Simulation Analysis tools. Knowledge of measurement systems and manufacturing processes. Understanding of dimensional engineering deliverables within the vehicle development process. Proficiency in standard PC tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
