Direct Job #30313 Derivatives Operations Specialist | Boston | Onsite A leading Boston-based alternative investment firm is seeking a Senior Derivatives Operations Specialist to join its Back Office Operations team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced operations professional with derivatives experience to take on a key role supporting the firm's derivative reconciliations, settlements, cash flows, and daily margin processes.
Compensation:
$95,000-105,000 + bonus
Schedule:
Onsite 5 days/week
What You'll Do:
Own daily reconciliations for derivative securities Process and reconcile derivative principal and interest payments Investigate and resolve derivative breaks and discrepancies with counterparties, banks, administrators, and internal teams Prepare, project, and analyze daily derivative margin calls Support post-trade derivative settlements and related operational processes Develop a strong understanding of the firm's trading strategies, derivative activity, and associated cash flows Assist with monthly shareholder statement reviews and other operational projects
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 3-5 years of relevant operations & Derivatives experience Hands-on experience with derivatives operations is required Strong knowledge of post-trade derivative settlements Experience with fund accounting, reconciliations, custody, or investment operations Understanding of accounting controls within the investment management industry Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills For immediate consideration, please reach out to Kelly Lucey at klucey@daleyaa.com . #LI-KH1
