Job Description
About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office Specialist within the WholesaleOperations team as a part of Corporate Investment Banking Operations. This Middle Office role will be responsible for supporting the Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) Pass-through Sales & Trading business. The initial responsibilities primarily combine managing the Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) and Assignment of Trade (AOT) processes, including Real-Time Trade Matching (RTTM) and netting. In this role, you will: Utilize the Front Office Trading System (Catalyst), MBS Expert, Broadridge/Impact, FICC, along with other applications to accomplish daily functions Gradually learn more complex aspects of the lifecycle of the To Be Announced (TBA) market, including TBA Allocations, reconciling trading positions, pair offs, and ensuring timely settlement of trades Collaborate with other team members, Sales & Trading, clients, and various support partners to escalate issues and ensure efficient operations Ability to execute precisely in a fast-paced, stressful environment according to the demands of the RMBS Trading desk Provide information to managers and the

Trade Processing:
Assignments, allocations, pair offs, netting transactions related to TBAs and MBS poolsReconciliation:
Ensuring trades are confirmed in front to back systems, liaising with various teamsSettlement and Fails Management:
Coordinating settlement and investigating exceptionsRisk Management and Control:
Participating in risk assessment, identifying control gaps, and implanting solutionsRequired Qualifications:
2+ years of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
2+ years of Securities Operations experience Knowledge and Understanding of the Fixed-Income markets, Trade Processing and Mortgage-Backed Securities Experience communicating with Trading, Sales, Finance, Back Office, and other business partners Able to make timely decisions in resolving difficult problems including customer disputes, system issues, and business unit inquiries Execute precisely in a fast-paced, stressful environment according to the demands of the RMBS Trading desk Strong analytical, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Demonstrate flexibility, sound judgment, business ethics, and the ability to multi-task In-depth Microsoft 365 application knowledge is also a benefitJob Expectations:
