We are partnering with an international commodities business to appoint a Trading Executive to support the growth of its agricultural commodities trading portfolio. This is a commercially driven role for someone who enjoys building markets, originating opportunities, and managing trades end to end. The role would suit a trader who already has solid exposure to the agricultural commodities space and is looking to join a platform where relationship building, market judgment, and execution capability are all highly valued. Key Responsibilities Develop and expand new markets and customer relationships across assigned regions Execute third-party trading activities from sourcing and negotiation through to deal closure Monitor market trends, pricing movements, competitive activity, and broader industry developments Build a strong understanding of trade flows, product grades, origins, and market spreads Conduct supply and demand analysis to support trading strategies and commercial decision-making Leverage existing market relationships and industry networks to drive origination and business growth Requirements Around 3-5 years of trading experience, ideally within agricultural commodities Proven ability to originate business and develop customer or supplier relationships Existing industry network or transferable book of contacts would be advantageous Strong commercial instincts, analytical ability, and comfort working with numbers and market data Good understanding of commodity market dynamics, pricing, and trade structures Willingness to travel across key markets as required Self-motivated, independent, and able to work well within a team-oriented environment Strong alignment with the company's values, culture, and long-term growth mindset Why this role This is an opportunity to join a business that values entrepreneurial traders who can combine market insight with strong execution.
