$130k-$170k + bonus
Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic operations team supporting a fixed income trading desk, where you will manage the full trade lifecycle and ensure smooth day-to-day execution. You will oversee trade capture through settlement and reconciliation, partner closely with front office and risk teams to resolve discrepancies and take ownership of daily P&L reporting with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance. The role also offers the chance to drive automation and process improvements, making it ideal for someone who enjoys optimizing workflows, mitigating risk, and contributing to a highly efficient trading environment. In this role you will be responsible for: Support the fixed income trading desk end-to-end, ensuring seamless and efficient daily trading operations Oversee the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation Build and enhance automated tools using VBA, Python, and SQL to drive efficiency and reduce manual risk Partner closely with trading, risk, and back-office teams to investigate and resolve trade discrepancies Perform daily P&L reconciliation and reporting, maintaining accuracy and adherence to internal and regulatory standards Continuously evaluate existing workflows, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing best practices Uphold compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies, with a strong focus on operational risk management The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field 7+ years of experience in middle office or trading support, with a focus on fixed income Strong technical skillset, including hands-on experience with VBA, Python, and SQL Deep understanding of fixed income products, trade lifecycle processes, and market conventions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Experience with trading platforms such as Bloomberg and Tradeweb is a plus
