Position Title:
Analyst Commodity II Work Location:
Remote or Onsite atNorth Chicago, IL Assignment Duration:
5 months (Possibility of extension)Position Summary:
- Collaborate with scientists and manufacturing subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, analyze, and validate business & technical requirements for process performance analytics platforms and capabilities.
- Leverage expertise in operations, biologics, CMC, and manufacturing systems to identify needs, gaps, and opportunities for process enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with scientists and manufacturing subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, analyze, and validate business & technical requirements for process performance analytics platforms and capabilities.
- Leverage expertise in operations, biologics, CMC, and manufacturing systems to identify needs, gaps, and opportunities for process enhancement.
- Craft detailed documentation to support Software Life Cycle (SLC) processes, including requirements, specifications, validation, and change control.
- Design and optimize business processes by translating business needs into technical solutions; contribute to system implementation and integration.
- Facilitate solution testing efforts (functional, UAT) to ensure delivered systems meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Support value data capture, metric definition, and quantitative analyses to enable data-driven decision making and process improvements.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, life-sciences, or related field (advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus) with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in requirement gathering, process engineering, and business systems analysis within manufacturing, operations, or biologics/CMC environments.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing systems, operations, and the SLC framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders while supporting the maintenance of business relationships.
- Proficiency in documenting requirements, process flows, and validation artifacts.
- Experience with solution testing and data analytics (PowerBI, Excel, Dataiku, Python, SQL).
Additional Information:
- Advanced Degree in related field
- Experience providing/supporting development of teaching or training materials
- Experience being the voice of the customer
- Experience in data science, data engineering, machine learning, or analytics engineering.
