Job Description

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a track record of strong negotiation skills / cost savings initiatives, has an excellent eye for detail, builds new supplier relationships easily and maintains existing relationships. The commodity specialist / buyer should provide optimization in cost and quality.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business administration, international business, or any other field Experience in purchasing and negotiating with suppliers. Experience in using ERP systems for purchasing and inventory management Spanish speaking a plus Knowledge of MS Office Minimum experience 3 years in purchasing Experience buying parts from Asia International transportation & logistics experience
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
Decision-making. Effective communication Strong Negotiating ability and Independent Negotiating Skills Ability to analyze information. Service oriented. Ability to identify savings opportunities for the company.
