A Tax Specialist is responsible for documenting all stages of the accounting cycle in order to prepare Federal, State and local tax returns. Will review data prior to preparing the returns, prepare and file returns and will also provide background documentation in case of an audit.

Job Description
Our client needs help with Sales & Use tax compliance efforts. Assisting with gathering tax audit information/data, workpaper cleanup, and reconciliation of invoice refunds (client uses Oracle). So, while there is some indirect tax topics involved, a consultant with general accounting skills could also be well aligned for this engagement. This position is 5 days onsite. +
Rate:
$60-65/hour rate (W2) plus benefits- + •5 days onsite (Irving, CA (Zip code 92912)•+ •
Project:
4-5 months- This position will support sales and use tax compliance, sales tax audit, tax research, tax reconciliations and potential ad hoc projects.
