In this role, you will use your expertise in individual and business tax to assist clients in tax retrun preparation while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. We need strong communication skills that will help build lasting client relationships and support our growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting knowledge in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering top-tier tax solutions. Duties Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities using advanced tax preparation software. Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and accounting records to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with current tax laws. Advise clients on tax planning strategies to optimize their financial outcomes while adhering to legal requirements. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation, regulations, and best practices related to public accounting and corporate taxation. Manage client communication effectively by explaining complex tax concepts clearly and providing exceptional customer service throughout the engagement process. Support business development efforts through client acquisition activities, marketing initiatives, and networking within the financial community. Requirements Proven experience in tax preparation including individual, corporate, partnership, and partnership tax returns. Strong understanding of financial concepts including bookkeeping, technical accounting, and financial reporting standards. Good client communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly and professionally. Ability to analyze financial data critically while managing multiple deadlines efficiently. Knowledge of public accounting practices and experience working with various types of clients is highly desirable. Role will requires attaining Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Full time hours will be January•April. Part time hours are May•December.
