About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Tax Clerk to support our Fiduciary Tax team. In this role, you will assist with administrative and tax-related activities for trust accounts, helping ensure accurate handling of tax documents, records, and notices. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with documents, managing data, and supporting a team in a fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesTax Support Assist tax professionals with administrative tasks related to trust tax filings. Gather, organize, and maintain information needed for fiduciary tax returns. Coordinate requests for information between internal teams and external tax preparers. Track outstanding tax-related items and maintain accurate records. Document and Records Management Receive, sort, scan, and organize incoming tax documents and correspondence. Maintain accurate electronic and physical records using document management systems. Monitor tax notices, deadlines, and follow-up activities. Prepare and process routine tax forms and supporting documentation. Operational Support Handle confidential client and tax information with discretion. Follow established procedures, internal controls, and compliance requirements. Support special projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives. Assist the team during busy tax periods to ensure timely and accurate processing. Required Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in administration, tax, accounting, banking, financial services, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling documents and data. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to manage confidential information professionally. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in trust services, banking, wealth management, or fiduciary environments. Knowledge of fiduciary taxation, trust accounting, or tax notice processing. Experience using document management or workflow tracking systems. Familiarity with fiduciary tax forms, trust tax returns, or tax notices. Desired Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Dependable and process-oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
