Our collaborative approach allows our team to make a meaningful impact while building lasting client relationships We're looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join our growing team in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, mentoring staff, and contributing to a firm that values innovation, strategic thinking, and exceptional service. What You'll Do
  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates.
  • Deliver proactive tax planning strategies that help clients minimize tax liabilities and achieve their financial goals.
  • Build strong relationships with business owners and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the year.
  • Research complex tax issues and prepare technical memorandums when needed.
  • Respond to IRS and state tax notices and assist with tax examinations.
  • Mentor and review the work of junior staff, providing guidance and technical training.
  • Collaborate with partners and managers on tax planning, consulting engagements, and special projects.
  • Stay current on changing tax laws and industry developments. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA license or active pursuit of CPA preferred.
  • 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
  • Experience preparing business and individual tax returns.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines during busy season while maintaining accuracy.
  • Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. What We Offer
