This is a Tax Specialist II position in the General Tax Administration Program's, Receivables Management, Field Operations - Collection Process located in the Tallahassee CCOC building - Bankruptcy Unit. The incumbent provides professional level support in coordination of bankruptcy collections for tax and child support matters. The incumbent performs in-depth reviews of Department records, related federal and state documents, and court orders to determine tax or child support implications and debtor liability under federal and state law. The incumbent also initiates collection and enforcement actions to ensure the bankruptcy debtor's compliance with tax and child support laws administered by the Department, in accordance with related federal bankruptcy court statutes and orders.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue. Three years of collections experience within the General Tax Administration Program.SPECIAL NOTES
This position travels locally to taxpayers' business locations. In addition, occasional overnight travel may be necessary for training purposes. For all travel, you will use your own means of transportation. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to agency policy. Sometimes this position requires overtime (this may include weekends).SALARY:
The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $4,086.61 monthly/$49,039.32 annually.BENEFITS
