is seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join our growing firm in Statesboro, Georgia. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working directly with clients and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality tax work. Responsibilities Prepare individual, business, non profit, and fiduciary tax returns Review client financial records and tax documents for completeness and accuracy Communicate with clients regarding missing information and tax questions Assist with tax planning and year-round client support Maintain compliance with federal and state tax regulations Work collaboratively with firm leadership and staff during tax season and throughout the year Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of recent tax preparation experience in a public accounting or tax firm environment Strong knowledge of individual and business taxation Experience with tax preparation software and QuickBooks preferred Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize workload Strong communication and organizational skills EA, CPA, and/or accounting degree preferred but not required for the right candidate What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive and professional work environment Opportunity for long-term growth Flexible scheduling options may be available Year-round position with an established local CPA firm
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
