Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Drainage/Real Estate Clerk to join our team. This position provides administrative support for the county's drainage and real estate tax functions while delivering courteous and professional services to the public. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented , organized, and committed to maintaining accurate records and providing excellant customer service. Responsibilities Maintain accurate drainage and real estate records. Perform data entry and maintain electronic and paper filing systems. Assist the public by answering questions in person, by telephone, and by email. Research property, drainage, and tax records as requested. Prepare reports, correspondence, and other official documents. Provide administrative support to the County Auditor's Office. Perform other clerical and office duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or related coursework preferred. Previous clerical, bookkeeping, government, or administrative office experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn specialized county software. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. $41,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
