This position reports directly to the VP, Tax and will have visibility with Accounting and Finance, and external advisors. What You'll Do Assist in the preparation of federal, state and local corporate income and franchise tax workpapers and returns Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations under ASC 740 Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations and tax extension calculations Assist with preparation of tax depreciation schedules Provide support for federal and state income tax audits, including gathering supporting documentation and responding to information requests Partner with Accounting and Finance and external advisors on tax reporting matters Research federal and state tax law changes and their impact on the company Support tax planning initiatives and special projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting required; pursuing CPA and/or MST preferred 1-3 years of experience, banking or Big 4 accounting firm preferred Advanced user of Excel, and OneSource Tax Software (or related system) Financial institution and bank holding company exposure is a plus Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task Benefits Medical Insurance
