We are hiring multiple Customer Service Specialist Is (Revenue Tax Specialist Is) for our Customer Service Bureau in Springfield, IL for a tentative start date of 9/16/2026. This position is responsible for serving the Call Center by working with the department staff, taxpayers, businesses, and local governments on the telephone, in person, and through email utilizing interpersonal and customer service skills. You will provide responses to inquiries on the various tax types and tax laws affecting: Individual Income Tax; Withholding Income Tax; Sales and Use Tax; Business Income Tax and training on GenTax and MyTax Illinois software.
