We are hiring multiple Local Government Services Specialists Is (Revenue Tax Specialist I) for our Local Tax Allocation Division located in Springfield, IL. Essential Functions Under general supervision, reviews and analyzes allocation issues and problems regarding disbursement of local tax. Reviews local government ordinances for comparison with IDOR records to verify compliance with statutes. Confers in person, by telephone and written correspondence with local government officials, taxpayers, accountants, attorneys and others to resolve taxable location conflicts or to confirm data in connection with taxable location research, various tax disbursements, statutory taxable location investigations and/or the result of taxable location investigations.
