Interns can expect to learn from a team of professionals while enhancing their education, career path, professional development and gain practical accounting knowledge in one of Manhattan's premier Certified Public Accounting Firms. Tax interns will apply their education and experience assisting with preparation of federal and state tax returns. Other opportunities may include general accounting, financial statement preparation, audit, and special projects. Responsibilities Learn new technology tools and interpret data efficiently and accurately. Remain flexible amid changing work priorities and project scope. Learn how to work as part of a team to support our firm and clients Collaborate with the team to identify, research, and resolve client issues. Prepare individual tax returns. Assist with tax projects for multiple client engagements in a broad variety of industries Work on projects where you can apply your academic knowledge, manage priorities and deadlines, and develop new skills. Additional tasks or projects to learn more about public accounting and office operations.
