Tax Associate

Tax Associate Schofer Dillberg & Company, Inc. - Natick, MA Schofer Dillberg & Company, Inc., a growing boutique CPA firm, is seeking a dedicated and dependable Tax Associate to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering high-touch client service, while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities Prepare business and individual income tax returns for clients with intermediate to complex tax profiles Assist with tax planning and client advisory engagements Communicate directly with clients to gather information and address inquiries Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Perform general bookkeeping support and review client financial data as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 1+ year of public accounting experience preparing business and individual tax returns (comparable internship experience considered) Experience with QuickBooks Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA candidate Experience with CCH ProSystem fx or Axcess Tax, ProSystem fx Engagement, and BNA Income Tax Planner Ability to research and resolve general tax issues Exposure to audit, review, or compilation engagements What We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits A dynamic, hands-on learning environment Clear opportunities for professional growth A collaborative team culture with a casual office atmosphere
