As a First Year Tax Professional, you'll receive training and support to prepare individual tax returns and assist clients throughout the busy tax season. About the Role As a First Year Tax Professional, you will assist clients with their tax preparation needs during the busy tax season. Responsibilities Meet with clients to gather information needed to prepare their tax returns. Prepare individual tax returns using company-provided software and training. Review financial documents and identify eligible deductions and credits. Explain tax return information and filing options to clients. Provide exceptional service and build trust with clients. Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive client information. Complete required training and continuing education programs. Support office operations during the busy tax season. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Required Skills Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic computer skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Willingness to learn tax preparation skills and technology. Ability to work a flexible schedule during tax season. Preferred Skills Customer service, retail, banking, or office experience. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Interest in finance, accounting, or helping others with financial matters. Pay range and compensation package Competitive starting pay of $18/hour, plus potential bonus opportunities.
