Job Description
OverviewIntuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts in one of our new TurboTax locations across the United States.
This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs.
As a TurboTax
Your primary focus will be full-service tax return preparation, providing expert tax advice, calculations, and software support, but your responsibility extends beyond that.
You will be the connective tissue between your customers and a broader team of specialists covering business tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services.
This is not a hand-off model.
You will sit in the same customer meetings, absorb the same context, and build a shared understanding of each customer's complete financial picture, then work in lock-step with the right experts to deliver a seamless, end-to-end Intuit experience.
Your ability to understand each customer's unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical.
Taxes can be stressful, and your presence as a trusted, knowledgeable guide makes all the difference whether you're helping with a straightforward W-2 filing, navigating a major life event like marriage, a new child, or elder care, or tackling more complex scenarios involving business income, investments, or amendments.
Additionally, you will play a key role in growing TurboTax's client base within the local community, attracting new clients, establishing long-term relationships, and driving customer loyalty.
You will leverage TurboTax marketing support and software to empower you in building a thriving business that fosters prosperity for both you and your community.
This role is nonexempt and requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States.
Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language.
Be a Proactive Community Ambassador
Serve as the local face of TurboTax, converting new prospects into loyal, long-term clients.
Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops, community pop-ups, and networking gatherings with the support of TurboTax marketing tools and resources, to create consistent opportunities for customer engagement and brand awareness.
Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem
Your role is not simply to deliver a service, but to ensure every client leaves with a clearer path and the full weight of Intuit's resources behind them for year-round support.
Build Relationships
Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual
Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand, such as tax seasonMust be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
Training requirements are subject to change based on business needs and the company reserves the right to introduce additional requirements at any timeMust be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms.

Key QualificationsWho You Are:
EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
