Job Description

Key Responsibilities As a member of the Finance Team, you will play an important role in supporting tax compliance, financial operations, and process improvement initiatives across the organization. Tax Compliance & Reporting
  • Assist with the preparation, filing, and compliance management of U.S. federal and state corporate income tax, Sales Tax, Use Tax, and Payroll Tax obligations.
  • Maintain tax calendars, filing schedules, and supporting documentation to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
  • Support the resolution of tax notices, compliance inquiries, and historical tax-related issues.
  • Assist in annual tax audits and other tax compliance reviews. Financial & Operational Support
  • Prepare, reconcile, and analyze tax-related financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the administration and compliance management of vehicles, licenses, and other operational assets across multiple states.
  • Collaborate with business teams to support tax compliance requirements associated with ongoing business expansion. Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management
  • Coordinate with external service providers, including CPA firms, tax advisors, and payroll providers (such as ADP), to ensure timely completion of tax-related matters.
  • Assist in developing and improving tax management processes, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and compliance effectiveness. --- Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, taxation, audit, payroll tax, or related finance functions.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with U.S. taxation, payroll tax, sales tax, or public accounting firms is highly preferred.
  • CPA, EA, or candidates currently pursuing professional certifications are preferred. --- What You'll Gain

Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
