This role combines tax compliance with strategic advisory , providing opportunities to work directly with clients on tax planning, estate planning, retirement strategies, and long-term wealth management. The ideal candidate is a client-focused tax professional who enjoys solving complex issues and building trusted, long-term relationships. Responsibilities Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates. Provide year-round tax planning, projections, and advisory services. Research tax laws, regulations, and legislative changes to develop effective planning strategies. Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide practical recommendations based on client goals. Assist with trust, estate, and fiduciary tax planning and compliance. Support retirement planning, wealth management, and broader financial advisory initiatives. Participate in client meetings and communicate tax strategies and recommendations. Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships. Collaborate with senior tax professionals on complex tax, accounting, and advisory engagements. Manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines throughout the year. Prepare accurate workpapers and maintain organized supporting documentation. Stay current on tax legislation, accounting standards, and industry best practices. Requirements Active CPA license required. 1-3+ years of public accounting or tax experience. Experience preparing individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations. Trust, estate, and fiduciary tax experience is highly preferred. Interest in expanding into tax planning, estate planning, retirement planning, and wealth management. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong client-service and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
