We are specifically looking for a CPA with early-career public accounting experience who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to grow beyond tax preparation. The right candidate will prepare tax returns, identify planning opportunities, participate in retirement and estate-planning discussions, and work closely with experienced financial advisors. This is an excellent opportunity for a growth-oriented CPA who wants to build long-term expertise in tax planning, wealth management, estate planning, and financial planning. Responsibilities Meet directly with clients and prepare individual income tax returns Prepare small-business and partnership returns, including Forms 1065 and 1120 Assist with trust, estate, and fiduciary tax matters, including Forms 1040, 706, and applicable New Jersey filings Develop year-round tax-planning projections and recommendations Support financial advisors with tax, retirement, estate-planning, and client budget discussions Participate in client meetings involving financial plans, retirement strategies, and estate matters Maintain strong client relationships and support new business development opportunities Research tax matters and collaborate with managers, partners, and financial advisors Assist with client accounting and other year-round advisory services Requirements Active CPA license 1-3+ years of public accounting or tax experience Experience preparing individual and small-business tax returns Strong interest in financial planning, wealth management, retirement planning, and estate planning Comfortable meeting with clients and explaining tax matters clearly Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accurate client records Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills Willingness to work additional evening or Saturday hours during tax season when needed Ability to work on-site in the Oradell, New Jersey office Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Health insurance and benefits package Retirement plan options Paid time off Professional development and credential support Long-term advancement within tax, wealth management, and financial advisory services This opportunity is ideal for a client-focused CPA who wants to strengthen their tax foundation while developing into a trusted wealth and financial-planning advisor.
