Tax Accountant/Advisor (CPA firm)

Job DescriptionJob Description A midsize CPA firm located in Brooklyn is growing and seeking to hire a full time tax accountant with at least 4 years of experience. Immediate hire! Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to development and training of staff, preparing income tax returns which include 1040,1120S, 1120, and 1065. Reviewing and preparing financial statements, write up work, handling tax notices, consulting and tax planning with clients. Need to understand the functions of payroll taxes, sales taxes, bookkeeping, and accounting. Knowledge of QuickBooks desktop, online, and Lacerte knowledge required. Great communication and interpersonal skills are required as well. Full time position.
